Welcome to Cojaqa! These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our photo and video equipment rental services. By renting equipment from us, you agree to be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully before proceeding with your rental.
In these Terms and Conditions, unless the context otherwise requires:
All equipment rentals must be booked in advance through our website, by phone at +44 20 8765 4321, or by email at [email protected]. A rental agreement is formed when we confirm your booking and receive payment or a valid deposit.
To rent equipment, you must be at least 18 years old and provide valid identification. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who does not meet our eligibility requirements or who has previously violated our terms.
While we strive to maintain accurate inventory information, equipment availability is subject to change. We reserve the right to substitute equipment of equal or greater value if your requested items become unavailable.
Rental fees are calculated based on the rental period and equipment selected. All prices are displayed in GBP and include VAT where applicable. Payment must be made in full before equipment collection or delivery.
A refundable security deposit is required for all rentals. The deposit amount varies depending on the equipment value and will be specified at the time of booking. The deposit will be refunded within 7 business days after the equipment is returned in satisfactory condition.
Equipment must be returned by the agreed-upon date and time. Late returns will incur additional charges at 150% of the daily rental rate for each day or partial day the equipment is overdue.
You agree to use the equipment only for its intended purpose and in accordance with manufacturer guidelines. The equipment must not be used for illegal activities or in hazardous conditions without prior written authorization.
You are fully responsible for the equipment from the moment of collection until its return. You must take reasonable care to prevent damage, loss, or theft. Equipment should be stored securely when not in use.

You are liable for any damage to, loss of, or theft of the equipment during the rental period. This includes damage caused by misuse, negligence, or accidents. You will be charged the full replacement cost for lost or stolen equipment and repair costs for damaged equipment.
We strongly recommend obtaining insurance coverage for rented equipment. Optional insurance may be available at an additional cost. Please inquire at the time of booking.
Any damage, malfunction, loss, or theft must be reported to us immediately by calling +44 20 8765 4321 or emailing [email protected]. Failure to report incidents promptly may result in additional charges.
Equipment may be collected from our location at 15 Grafton Road, London, NW5 3NT during business hours. Delivery services may be available for an additional fee, subject to availability and location.
All equipment must be returned clean and in the same condition as received. You must return all items listed in your rental agreement, including accessories, cases, cables, and manuals. Equipment should be returned during business hours unless alternative arrangements have been made.
Equipment will be inspected upon return. Any damage or missing items will be documented, and you will be notified of any charges to be deducted from your security deposit or billed separately.
Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the rental start time will receive a full refund minus a 10% administrative fee. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the rental start time are non-refundable, though credit toward future rentals may be offered at our discretion.
We reserve the right to cancel any rental if equipment becomes unavailable due to damage, loss, or circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, you will receive a full refund or the option to rent alternative equipment.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cojaqa shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use rented equipment. Our total liability shall not exceed the total rental fees paid for the specific rental in question.
We do not guarantee that equipment will be error-free or meet your specific requirements. While we maintain our equipment to high standards, technical malfunctions can occur, and we are not responsible for any losses resulting from equipment failure.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or your rental agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
These Terms and Conditions, together with your rental agreement and any additional terms provided at booking, constitute the entire agreement between you and Cojaqa regarding equipment rental.
If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
